a) What is the area of the patio

b) What are the dimensions of another rectangular patio she could build with the same area

c) Kate decides to make a patio with the same area but she wants it to be a square with whole number side lengths. Is this possible? Explain your reasoning.

That's all the answers to questions 4, 9, 10, 18, and 21 hope this helps.

Pythagoras Questions:

1. Answer in a short paragraph and with diagrams

Answer: The pythagorean relationship is a2 + b2 = c2. That means that a2 (we'll say its 3) + b2 (we'll say its 4) should = c2 (we'll say its 5). It also says that a and b the legs should equal the hypotenuse 5.

2. Solve the missing side length

ANSWER:

P. S. don`t forget to put your answer on to the triangle

  1. Awesome job Romiel! I liked the way you showed your answers and how you got it with pictures they were very well done. Your video was also very helpful i think that will help out a lot of classmates. One thing to make your scribepost even better is that you could've added a link but otherwise great job and keep up the great work!

  2. Romiel, great job! I liked the way you had your pictures and the way you have your some of your font a different color. For most of your answers, you used 2 equal signs in 1 equation, that is not correct in mathmatics, try to avoid that as much as possible. Secondly, for question 21, it would be much easier to understand if you added the picture of the rectangular design that kate has created. Also, your video is not the same as what we are doing in class, it would be better if you used a video that explains the square roots of perfect squares. Lastly, you can add a link about the square and square roots. Here is a link you can use http://www.math.com/school/subject1/lessons/S1U1L9GL.html
    Good Job Romiel!

  5. Hey Romiel! Your scribe is great! Your pictures are clear and understandable. The caption that goes with it is also very easy to understand. Also, your video is helpful! However, you could've added a link so it would be more helpful to people who doesn't really get the topic. Overall, you did great Romiel! Keep it up!
