The Pythagorean relationship  is the relationship between the lengths of each side of the right triangle. The sum of the areas of the square attached to the legs of the right triangle equals to the sum of the area to the square attached to the hypotenuse.

2. Solve for the missing side length:

3. Is this a right triangle? Prove it!!

No it is not a right triangle, because the sum of the area of the square attached to the legs of the right triangle does NOT equal to the are of the square attached to the hypotenuse.
