Ex. 6 to 9, 6:9, 6/9
Rate - A comparison of two quantities measured in different units.
Ex. 15 to 20 or 15:20
Proportion - An equation which states that the two radius are equal.
1) 5 hours to travel 360 miles is about 72 mph
3) What are the three ways you can prove that equivalent ratio statements are true?
3/4 = 12/16
You can multiply the top left number to the bottom right number. You can also do it diagonally, horizontally , and vertically.
4)
5) 1. Does this seem fair?
I don't think this is fair at all.2. With what you know about proportion look and read what is in the image above. Does it seem just and fair? Why have you made this choice?
No, it's not fair. I made this choice because the first man stole $ 3 billion and was sentenced for 40 months in jail. And, the other guy stole a hundred dollar bill because he was very hungry and needed somewhere to stay. The next day, he felt guilty and surrendered himself. He was sentenced for 15 years in prison.

3. What would you have done if you were the judge?
If I was the judge I would charge the guy that took $3 Billion, 15 years to jail. I would let the homeless man go and give him $100 so he could have somewhere to stay and eat.
Here are links for you guys, to help you out with proportions.
I hope this helps all of you guys!
